Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DARZIX DIGITAL PRIVATE LIMITED ("DarziX", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use DarziX websites and mobile applications (Customer, Craftsman, and Delivery).

We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), applicable IT Rules, and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed), marketing preferences
• Order data: addresses, measurements, garment preferences, payment references (via Razorpay)
• Partner KYC: identity, bank, and vehicle documents for Craftsman and Delivery partners
• Location data: delivery partner GPS while on active tasks
• Device data: push tokens, app version, approximate diagnostics

2. Purpose of processing

We use personal data to create and secure accounts, fulfil custom tailoring orders, assign partners, process payments and payouts, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We share only what is necessary with assigned tailors, riders, payment processors (including Razorpay), and service providers under contract. We do not sell personal data.

4. Retention

Account profile data is deleted or anonymized when you delete your account (in-app or via Account Deletion, typically within 72 hours). Orders, invoices, GST, settlement, and dispute records may be retained in minimized form for up to 2555 days where required by Indian tax or consumer dispute law.

5. Your rights (Data Principal)

You may request access/export, correction (via profile update), and erasure (account deletion). Contact privacy@darzix.com or the Grievance Officer listed in our Grievance Redressal policy.

6. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, private storage for KYC, hashed passwords, and token revocation on logout/deletion.
